Teach them the things you love and watch as they bloom.
I took my daughter out(on the hottest day so we didn’t last long) and let her shoot. I set her up first on auto to see where her eye was and to get a good feel for the camera and where to press. I then moved her to a different mode closer to manual but not quite and oh my my.
I love the way she framed some of her shots, what she chose to photograph but most of all how much fun she had on the photo walk with me.
We’ll be doing this many more times and I can’t wait to see Charleston now through her lens!
I made her a custom logo, so the ones with ‘fae la vie’ below belong to my budding little photographer, Hallie Fae(10 years old).
This one I especially loved the way she framed it leading the eye down the path.
My favorite of the day!
ps…this is what the upper battery wall looks like now. The trees look like babies…and they are, but they did a wonderful job of making it look similar to what it once was. If you haven’t ridden by to see the changes, what are you waiting for?
I can’t wait for all of the greenery to grow so this area really shines.
