I wanted to take a minute to do a Fall Update but also a LIFE update!

I’m getting a bunch of requests about fall right now! Fall minis have booked up for November 9th-one day this year vs. two. If you missed it, I did the pre-sale in June and the rest booked in July.  I won’t be able to add any more openings to that weekend. I post details to Facebook for specials or right here on the blog.

I am also still booking a handful of spots for Monday or Tuesday, November 3rd or 4th. These are $425 30 minute weekday shoots. CCSD families will be out of school both days!

I will also have some weekend availability for full family shoots this fall, so email me for more info, or check out this tab of my site.

Mini’s are good, but the full shoot just gives you so much more! 

I’m also booking any and all newborn shoots, so get your due date saved for the rest of 2025!

 

LIFE UPDATE:

Many of you know that for the last 2 years I have been substituting in local elementary schools all over Charleston. I loved it so much, but much like photography, it’s busy then slow and mostly unpredictable.

Thankfully, one of the schools I often subbed in had an opening so I’ll be working there this school year throughout the week. Because of that, I didn’t want to overwhelm myself with too many shoots to edit all at once, so that is why fall mini weekend is a little shorter this year.

I have no plans to give up photography-I love it too much-but I am excited to stress less about its unpredictability while having something else I love to fall back on.

This fall, you’ll find me watching my son play JV football every Thursday night or in the bleachers at my daughter’s volleyball games.  I’ll be cheering her on while sometimes trying to be 2 places at once :). In between that during the week, it’s just a shuffle to and from practices/making dinner/laundry/all the things, so I won’t be able to do any weeknight shoots right now. I’ll pick that back up during the summer!

So bear with me on emails…I’m juggling so much more with ‘grown’ kids than I ever did when they were younger, or so it seems, but I’m still here!
